This class is offered online and you may apply for "Interlocking Specialist Certification" upon completion. Once you are certified you will be listed in our public directory of Certified Locticians.

Do I need a Cosmetology license to enroll in this class?
No, you do not need to have a Cosmetology license for this training.
What skill level is this training for?
The training is for beginners and intermediate Salon Professionals. Advanced professionals seeking certification may directly apply for certification if all pre-requisite requirements are met.
What is the process for Certification?
Upon successfully completing the Interlocking Specialist Training, students must complete a Theory Assessment with a score of 80% or higher and submit Practical Evidence of an Interlocking Establishment and Interlock Retightening on two (2) models/clients.
What is the cost to apply for certification?
The application fee for certification is $75 [not included in the cost of the training].
How soon after training can I apply for certification?
You will be able to immediately apply for certification after training. However, Theory Assessments must be scheduled at least 2 weeks in advance and are completed online.
I cannot attend live during the upcoming training date, should I wait to enroll.
While we strive to offer new trainings quarterly, this exact training may not be available live anytime soon. We would highly encourage you to enroll only if you can commit to the being present during training.
Will I be able to ask questions during the replay?
